This comforting Baked Beans with Bacon and Molasses recipe is a perfect blend of sweet and savory flavors, making it a delicious side dish for any gathering.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans (28 oz. each) Pork & Beans

  • 2 cans (8 oz. each) Tomato Sauce

  • 3/4 cup packed Brown Sugar

  • 1/3 cup Molasses

  • 1 Onion, sliced

  • 5 strips Bacon, sliced into pieces

  • 1/2 cup diced Chiles (optional)


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the pork & beans, tomato sauce, brown sugar, molasses, sliced onion, bacon pieces, and diced chiles (if using).

  3. Pour the mixture into a baking dish.

  4. Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for 2.5 hours, stirring occasionally.

  5. Serve warm and enjoy!
